A Level Maths Group Tuition

Secure your dream university offer with A Level Maths support from a KS5 specialist

Join one of our weekly classes provided by me, an experienced A Level Maths specialise secondary school teacher and examiner with a proven track record of helping students achieve their highest possible grades.

All classes follow a focused yet adaptable scheme of learning, covering key topics from the A Level maths curriculum. Suitable for all exam boards.

Each 50-minute session takes place via Google Meet where I lead small classes of up to eight students, ensuring personalised attention while maintaining a collaborative group dynamic that maximises student success.

I create a safe and nurturing space where students are welcome to keep their camera and microphone on or off during sessions. This flexibility allows everyone to participate in the way that feels most comfortable for them, which many neurodivergent students find especially supportive.

Students receive regular feedback, targeted past paper practice, weekly homework, monthly marked papers and one-one check ins, and ongoing support between sessions. This approach ensures they are fully supported throughout their maths journey, building confidence, skills, and a genuine understanding of the subject.

Maybe you’re aiming for an A* and need support tackling the more challenging content, or perhaps you’re working hard to achieve a C and want extra guidance to reach your goal. Either way, as a current Head of KS5 at a top-performing sixth form with years of experience, I’m here to help.

I offer high-quality A Level group lessons designed to build understanding and boost confidence. Our interactive sessions focus on applying knowledge through past paper questions, with a strong emphasis on exam technique — helping students feel prepared and capable in an exam setting.

Each session includes guided examples, exam-style practice, and time for students to ask questions. By the end of the course, students can expect stronger foundations, improved exam technique, greater confidence, and a clearer understanding of how to approach their A Level maths exam.

The first session is free, so get in touch today to book your no-obligation discovery call, or keep reading to find out more.

I offer small group classes, with a maximum of eight students per class, personally led by me, Kirsten Mack, an expert secondary school maths teacher with years of experience as an examiner.

Parents receive regular feedback. Both parent and student feedback is encouraged and appreciated as it helps me continually improve and maintain the high quality of my classes. I believe in regularly updating parents on their child's progress.

I provide a monthly marked past paper for all of my GCSE and A level students. Not only do they aid my students with exam prep and help them stay on track, but they also provide me with valuable information for planning my sessions.

I offer students support between sessions and am always on hand to help with questions. I also offer a monthly one to one for all students so I can check in with them personally for feedback and a catch up.

My classes require lots of student interaction and participation. Students are active in class, completing questions with answers fed back in chat box or verbally (when they feel comfortable to do so) to verify understanding throughout the class.

I have helped hundreds of students significantly improve their grades through the methods provided in my exam-focused, confidence building and small group classes.

Year 12

Suitable for Year 12 students who began their AS Maths in September, these courses are ideal for anyone looking to build confidence, fill gaps in understanding, and get ahead before entering Year 13. A strong grasp of Year 12 content is crucial for success in Year 13, so our lessons focus on developing a deep understanding of key topics, building essential skills, and mastering techniques before moving on to extensive past paper practice.

Through structured, interactive sessions, students will strengthen their foundations, consolidate their knowledge, and gain the confidence to tackle more challenging material. Whether they want to catch up, reinforce their learning, or get ahead, this course provides the support and structure needed to make real progress.

If students are serious about taking control of their Year 12 Maths — or want to ensure they don’t fall behind — this is the course that will set them up for success and give them the confidence to approach Year 13 with a solid, secure foundation.

Year 13

Suitable for Year 13 students preparing for their exams in summer 2026, these weekly sessions are carefully designed to build confidence, consolidate knowledge, and ensure students are fully prepared for their exams. Each session has a clear focus, structured to develop the skills, strategies, and mindset needed to perform effectively under exam conditions.

Lessons emphasise problem-solving, exam technique, and the application of knowledge in a range of contexts. Students receive expert guidance through worked examples, structured practice questions, and targeted feedback, helping them to approach even the most challenging problems with confidence. The sessions are interactive, encouraging questions, discussion, and active participation, which ensures that each student can learn at their own pace while benefiting from the group dynamic.

For students who want to strengthen their foundations while progressing with Year 13 content, bespoke packages are also available. These allow students to attend additional sessions to consolidate earlier learning, giving them the support they need to feel fully prepared and confident in their abilities.

By the end of the course, students will have stronger foundations, refined techniques, improved exam strategy, and increased confidence. This structured, supportive approach ensures they are ready to tackle their exams with clarity, focus, and resilience, maximising their potential for success in summer 2026.

Our Sessions

Girls are more likely to speak up, ask questions, and take risks in a space free from comparison or judgment.

INCREASED CONFIDENCE

Learning alongside like-minded peers fosters a sense of community, encouragement, and mutual motivation.

STRONG PEER SUPPORT

ENCOURAGEMENT & EMPOWERMENT

COLLABORATION OVER COMPETITION

We all actively encourage each other. With the aim being to break down any barriers that may exist due to stereotypes about women in STEM fields, helping students to feel empowered and capable.

Rather than a competitive atmosphere, these sessions emphasize collaboration. Students work together, sharing ideas and problem-solving strategies, and supporting each other through challenges. This fosters a sense of community, where students feel like they’re in it together.

Mistakes are seen as a natural part of the learning process, and the focus is on learning from them. This mindset helps to reduce anxiety about getting things wrong and encourages risk-taking and perseverance. The focus is on effort, improvement, and progress, not perfection.

GROWTH MINDSET

Students are regularly acknowledged for their hard work and progress, reinforcing the idea that their efforts are valuable. Praise is specific, acknowledging the thought process behind problem-solving rather than just the correct answers.

POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT
