The beauty of online learning is that it gives home-educated students access to high-quality UK teaching, wherever they are and whatever their learning style.

As a fully qualified teacher based in Cornwall, current Head of A Level Maths, former Head of Department, and experienced examiner, I bring a deep understanding of the standards and expectations of British education — helping home learners build strong foundations, confidence, and exam-ready skills.

I offer online maths tuition for home-educated students preparing for GCSE, iGCSE, and A Level exams. My lessons are designed to be engaging, structured, and flexible - supporting both independent learners and families seeking a guided, consistent approach to maths education.

Lessons can fit easily into your home education schedule, ensuring steady progress and confidence in maths.

Whether you’re looking for one-to-one tuition or small group sessions, I provide flexible options to suit your child’s needs.

Progress Tracking

I am committed to creating an inclusive and nurturing online learning environment where all students feel safe, supported, and empowered to thrive. Learning from the comfort of their own homes allows students to engage in a space that feels familiar and secure, helping to reduce anxiety and build confidence.

I encourage each learner to participate in the way that feels most comfortable for them - whether that means keeping their camera and microphone on or off - fostering autonomy and respect for individual needs. This flexibility benefits every learner, but is especially supportive for neurodivergent students, who may find traditional classroom environments overstimulating or socially demanding.

I celebrate diverse ways of thinking and encourage students to share their perspectives, helping to build a strong sense of belonging and mutual respect within the group. By valuing individuality and creating an atmosphere of acceptance, I aim to nurture not only academic growth but also personal development, self-expression, and a lifelong love of learning.

I offer small group classes, with a maximum of eight students per class, personally led by me, Kirsten Mack, an expert secondary school maths teacher with years of experience as an examiner.

Parents receive regular feedback. Both parent and student feedback is encouraged and appreciated as it helps me continually improve and maintain the high quality of my classes. I believe in regularly updating parents on their child's progress.

I provide a monthly marked past paper for all of my GCSE and A level students. Not only do they aid my students with exam prep and help them stay on track, but they also provide me with valuable information for planning my sessions.

I offer students support between sessions and am always on hand to help with questions. I also offer a monthly one to one for all students so I can check in with them personally for feedback and a catch up.

My classes require lots of student interaction and participation. Students are active in class, completing questions with answers fed back in chat box or verbally (when they feel comfortable to do so) to verify understanding throughout the class.

I have helped hundreds of students significantly improve their grades through the methods provided in my exam-focused, confidence building and small group classes.

Our Sessions

All students will get a free trial to see for themselves what we are all about. In addition, parents get a free 15 minute discovery call to discuss how the sessions work, along with their student's individual needs and what they hope to achieve.

Lesson Recordings

After every session I will set homework to consolidate the content covered.

I will be on hand to help during all sessions, as well as with any additional maths questions in between lessons.

I will share the lesson recordings for students to use if they can't make it, or just want to revisit anything we've done.

All a student needs is a laptop or ipad with a speaker, a maths notebook and a calculator. My students all get a welcome pack with a highlighter, multi-coloured pen and flashcards to help getting started.

Online Lessons

Lessons are taught via Google meet with shared whiteboards, clear explanations, and lots of guided practice. Students can ask questions at any point, and we work through past paper questions together.
