Our Ethos
We aim to open doors for students by empowering them in maths and showing them they too have what it takes.
Students often put so much pressure on themselves to do well but without the right support this can result in stress and burnout and a knock in confidence. I have not doubt most of the learners who come to us for support are already aiming high and working hard.
My goal is to help turn hard work into results and help make their journey as successful and stress-free as possible through patience and knowledgeable guidance.
We focus on refining techniques aiming for deep understanding before spending time doing targeted past paper practice with a focus on exam strategies. This combined approach helps students build confidence and ensure they enter the exam believing in themselves in order to reach their full potential.
As an examiner, I know exactly what is required to get those all important marks and I love sharing my years of knowledge with my students and watching their grades and confidence improve as a result.
Lessons are delivered online, making them flexible and accessible from the comfort of your home.
I know the importance of the independent work students do after our sessions, so with unlimited support and contact in between sessions, I ensure students feel supported at all times.
Whether you're looking for one-to-one support or small group sessions, I'd love to hear from you. So please message me for a free consultation to discuss what I can do to help you and your teen.
Testimonials
”Kirsten really helped me with my confidence going into my Maths A Level exam. She tailored sessions around my in-class assessments, helping me prepare and going through my mistakes afterwards. This really allowed me to strengthen my weaker areas. Kirsten provided a relaxed teaching environment and I would recommend her to anyone.”

This half term, I’m running a course of FREE interactive online “Walking Talking” Mock Workshops designed to build confidence, sharpen exam technique, and improve time management.
As a qualified teacher and GCSE examiner, I’ll guide students through a real exam paper — highlighting key techniques and how to break down tricky questions.
These are perfect for year 11 students and those in year 12 and 13 doing their resits in November.
